Anyway, White Americans have this weird "original sin" going on in regards to black slavery and it's aftermath, so they happily cannibalize each other to feel a little "less-guilty" than the other guy, but we all know it's just another means of feeling superior with pretensions of morality.

You're absolutely right that many well-off blacks capitalize on it, and why not? The entire nation was nursed on black suffering; might as well get yours.

Note that I don't condone that approach, but I understand the mentality. I ultimately think the US' issues with race won't ever be resolved, since it's literally baked in to the substrate, but we can get along with the people beside us fine enough without sinking into bitterness and bad faith.
