>The siblings were entombed in the church of Saint-Jean-en-Grève, in Paris, bearing the epitaph “Here lie the brother and sister. You who pass by, do not inquire as to the cause of their death, but go and pray to God for their souls.”

You don't bother. Everyone thinks that they are intelligent, very few have any data to back it up. Arguing with people online (especially when they are pseuds) is a complete waste of time.
The pseud epidemic is why I left lit, this is probably the worst board in terms of 105 IQ people thinking they are smarter than everyone else. Not that the other boards are really any better, hobby boards are full of Dunning-Krugers and the completely incompetent.
I used to like sci, there was a minority of posters who said they were from Ivy leagues and had masters in engineering or other stem fields but the pol invasion is fully under way now and I am beyond tired of every other post being about how "Jews are really responsible for X! Don't Google this and disprove it in 5 minutes!" or how vaccines will make you sterile, have a 95% mortality rate, are connected to 5G towers, etc.
Thank you for reading my blog. It is a friday night and I said I was going to stay in to work on a project but so far I have accomplished nothing and am instead trying to hide from my responsibilities by posting about inane shit online.

You are free to refuse to call me a pagan, of course. It has no effect however, because you are not the ultimate arbiter. I have not received my faith from chatrooms or nudists as you suppose, but from the spirits themselves.

And as far as questions go, I only detected one in your paragraph. However, it seems rhetorical.

Yes, but it also does other things doesnt it? Just like names.

If I say to you "slab", what does it mean to you? Does it mean one and only one thing or can it mean more than one? Am I giving you a command? Am I commanding you to grab a slab, to just imagine a slab?

If ordinary names have problems like these with their naming relation, it becomes even more apparent with other forms of language like verbs. Words are not just names, they serve other functions. Not even names are just simply names, they can serve other functions, and this becomes apparent when we focus on the use of the language rather than essences of language.

I know Wolfe didn't choose to write Urth, but damnit he wrote one hell of a novel-length Epilogue. It has some of the most beautiful passages in the entire series.

>“How is it you speak? What sound is there here?” “You must listen to my voice,” she told me, “and not to my words. What do you hear?” I did as she had instructed me, and heard the silken sliding of the sheet, the whisper of our bodies, the breaking of the little waves, and the beating of my own heart. A hundred questions I had been ready to ask, and it had seemed to me that each of the hundred might bring the New Sun. Her lips brushed mine, and every question vanished, banished from my consciousness as if it had never been. Her hands, her lips, her eyes, the breasts I pressed—all wondrous; but there was more, perhaps the perfume of her hair. I felt that I breathed an endless night … . Lying upon my back, I entered Yesod. Or say, rather, Yesod closed about me. It was only then that I knew I had never been there. Stars in their billions spurted from me, fountains of suns, so that for an instant I felt I knew how universes are born. All folly. Reality displaced it, the kindling of the torch that whips shadows to their corners, and with them all the winged fays of fancy. There was something born between Yesod and Briah when I met with Apheta upon that divan in that circling room, something tiny yet immense that burned like a coal conveyed to the tongue by tongs.

I lie in the ruins of the burned out cathedral that was my home, smoking spirits and drinking holy wine
Outside they are signing Christmas carols and lighting cars on fire.
Outside they are picking fights with pacifists and ringing in the new year
I wish I could join them, purple haired prophets full of passionate intensity
Murdering their fathers and singing
"Peace on earth and good will twords men"
Inside my face is broken into stained glass slivers
lacking all conviction because "On Earth, only peace among those who God favors"
I cast aside my cigarette twords the faded face of God.
It doesn't explode into a shower of sparks like I wished for, it just sits there slowly burning out.

>be 12 and black reading Harry Potter on subway
>notice disheveled man smelling of feces sleeping, having claimed an area around him with his scent
>sit down within smelling distance
>it is in my power to ignore the smell
>wakes up and begins stalking up the car
>getting closer towards me speaking gibberish to everyone he passes
>continue focusing on book
>my hardcover lambs blood worked, ignores me
>man standing next to me yells at him to return to his area
>he sheepishly returns to his seat and leaves at the next stop

I still wonder about the circumstances that led him to smelling of shit on a train, as well as the man who so confidently demanded he return to his seat.
