I personally remember being at church at hearing a story from the pastor that he lost his keys in the sand, made a prayer, and his wife sank her hand in the sand one more time to find the keys miraculously.

At the time of hearing that story, perhaps not being older than twelve, I neither believed nor disvilieved that that story. It was just a story to me.

Honestly I wonder how I even became an atheist, I perhaps never tought about it ´till I was asked if I believed in god, but for someone who had been going to a couple of different churches a week for years in his childhood, I cannot concieved how they failed to implant the belief in me. My guess is that I might have watched a science documentary or several at a very early stage, the argument being about what we know and about what we dont know, and about whats a theory and whatnot, explained with animations of evolution, the planets, and so on, perhaps the image of a primitive man at a museum set the tone, as I do recall a lot of my childhood dreams were about paleolitical/jurasical lands, sometimes before that with no life whatsoever or barely trace of a plant world barely starting to form in a chaotic natural word, I guess dinosaurs were popular then.

Anyway, do read that >>15368583
