How did George Orwell predict modern day cancel culture and gender pronouns (newspeak)?

It’s actually insane. The man was a profit. A based man who hated socialism, and accurately describes how it always leads to an authoritarian nightmare. Fellow right wing intellectuals, you should definitely read this book, would recommend 10/10

So I am reading 1984 and are getting some heavy faggatory vibes from MC

>Constantly focuses on men's features and attractiveness while summarizing females as small, stupid and pretty
>Mentions Big Brother at least once per chapter

Was it intentional or was Orwell just repressed?

This book is starting to get banned and getting op eds that it's outdated and dangerous by the MSM and press.

You have to admit that there is some truth to this. The paranoia of that book leads directly to stuff today like Alex Jones and the alt right.

Obviously shitlib democrats co-opted this book for after 2016 and used to justify the whole "both sides are bad" argument and how trump was le evil gubermint nazi dictator.

However, even after being pretty heavily co-opted by the shitlib centrists, I still really enjoy this book.1984 has had a lasting impression on me ever since due to the ideas of "groupthink" and the ways language could be modified to change the conscience of the populace (which lead me towards Gramsci and Zizek).

/lit/, am I a brainlet for liking a book that the shitlibs have co-opted or is 1984 still a good book worth enjoying?
