writing is harder than I thought. I didn't think I would have this much trouble describing clothing and the environment. Dialogues that sounded cool when they were in my head seem really cringy when I write them down. I've also realized that I don't really know that much about daily activities of different classes of people in medieval europe (that's the setting for my novel)

I joined my neighbor university's writer's club and there's tons of creative qts and handsome intelligent males as well. We read our writing and organize public lectures. For example, one of our lectures was on Psychedelic Literature (Huxley, Beat generation). Try looking for local clubs and such, OP.
