Honestly it's tougher than it might seem to define. It's connected to nomadism, something like nomads moving in their territory, tied to it (because they're constantly on the move, but do so still within their territory), having a certain understanding of how space is partitioned and thus how property works, someone declaring a plot of land to be his own would either mean something different than the standard sedentary understanding that we have of it traditionally.

At the same time the war machine is a bit more than nomadism. It has to do with the fact that each one of us, no matter how invalid, could become revolutionaries under certain circumstances because it's a matter of how one organizes and behaves in a group rather than who's more capable of fighting. States of course try to capture something of this in their armies, which have their own particular understandings of space, partitioning, nomadism (even if just temporary), group organization and so on.

That's a part of Nietzsche's eternal return in that if you only have this immanence to look forward to for all eternity (like a kind of reincarnation free from any judgment or karma, purely physical and uncaring) then your attitude towards making excuses would change since you're here forever literally so you'll appreciate the weight of your every action.

Of course this can be understood without the Nietzschean metaphysical aspect as well since for Deleuze "reason" is always stuck in assemblages, no thought is isolated as just a string of signifiers. Assemblages are basically put together and consolidated (through repetition) connections between strings of words, images, spaces (room, outdoors, workplace etc.), times (morning right after waking up, evening fatigue, quitting time at work), gestures, postures, feelings, past experiences, etc. So basically these contingent connections are at odds with one another and strive to actualize themselves even if this means blocking others. It's basically Nietzsche's will to power and perspectivism with a few more details (rhizomes for D&G were inspired by neuronal connections). So if you can learn to see repetition of words in your heads as not being genuine thinking (which takes place rather when you're struggling with something external or your own habits for example), you'll see each thought (and the assemblage it is part of) as carrying more weight and being a material part of you that you must consolidate or block. Literally meaning is material, like when you're in a good mood and even something you'd otherwise hate is more pleasant or when music feels more pleasant when you're drunk (even if it's the kind of music you hate when sober) or when the entire world feels meaningless for no apparent reason or because a contingent almost trivial reason got connected to a "metaphysical" worldview like with people who kill themselves over almost nothing. Sorry if I'm rambling, hopefully you got the point.

It's so nice having a girlfriend to cuddle with, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Part of what Deleuze and Guattari called Body without Organs referred to how the body has certain "modes" that change the way we perceive our environment, like how when you're aroused and in love the very way you feel someone's touch is different from everyday sensations of touch. Imagine the bliss of that sweet peach fuzz on her skin as you gently caress her. The body has certain erogenous zones like the neck and upper chest that require the lightest touch to send shivers down your spine. You don't even need that, her sweet soft voice can do that without any direct contact at all, even a cute smile can do that sometimes. Of course nothing beats kissing someone you love and trust, taking all the time you need to enjoy the moment without any pressure to quickly have sex and leave. Some of the best parts of desire are these in-betweens where you're content to just hug her to feel her soft breasts against you.
