Hey /lit/, I've been looking to get more into Sci Fi reading. I dig post apocalyptic fiction, and anything with some sort of greater social context (yes, I realize that's almost all sci fi).
So, what do you guys reccomend out of the official 4chan list of reccomended reading? I recently finished Metro 2033 which was solid, if not with odd pacing and storytelling, but still a solid tale with a cool ending.

my favourites are "a song of ice and fire", starting with game of thrones, and anything by gene wolf, id start with "soldier in the mist"

this is an awesome list but is there a horror themed one?
