The closest I can think of is Ayn Rand's works, but that's more "I'm too competent and ethical for this world".

There's a very famous book about this situation.
Tired of getting bled dry by jobless layabouts, the productive people in the nation went on strike.
Once the productive people sequestered themselves in safety, the parasites managed to run society right into the ground, causing their own demise.

Is Galt's Gulch in Atlas Shrugged a realistic society? Leaving the infinite energy machine aside, would a bunch of rich people really be willing to leave everything behind to become farmers and menial laborers out in the mountains? Would they be able to cooperate as a society with "healthy competition" where everyone knows their place instead of constantly trying to sabotage each other? And would the fact that there's barely any women lead to any long-term problems?

Atlas Shrugged. I don't care what people say, it taught me that I don't owe anyone shit and there's nothing wrong with putting myself first and striving for excellence.

The Book has its focus set on people you work for their own idividual goals and who dont want to stick to the victim mentallity of the other people.

Just imagine what would happen of all the creator, the makers in the world would just leave and go on a strike.

It dives deep into the hole thing about being an individual and working for your own self interest. There is also a big emphasize on rationalism and being objectiv. There is a reason why her philosophy is called Objectivism.
