I write down what I like on a separate piece of paper. However, I seem to be very unlucky when it comes to used books at this point. Every second one has a bunch of highly questionable shit scribbled all over the pages. The other day I read The Scarlet Letter and every time the word "sprite" showed up the previous owner corrected it into "spirit".
