I am a beginner writer and worldbuilder who wants to know the best program(s) for organizing one’s notes on the setting/story. I noticed an ad for World Anvil and decided to check it out, but several of the features are only available if you pay, is doing so worth it? What would you recommend that I use if it isn’t? Scrivener, Campfire, or some other program that I haven’t mentioned here? And why would you recommend it, please?

Is World Anvil a useful tool for fantasy worldbuilding? Is there any way to download any of the premium World Anvil content, like family trees, etc., without paying for it?
