Yes, but Kierkegaard's conception of "authentic" christianity could be called intempestive (like Nietzsche's), both refuse Kant-Hegel's view on (rational) ethics, them both seek a new (or forgotten) way to find a deeper/stronger/authentic "Meaning"...

I found some kind of "dialogue" between some "Beyond Good and Evil"'s aphorisms and some parts of "Fear and Trembling" (some of them surprisingly fitting).

This made me remember what disappointed me about Schopenhauer: Suffering being the essence of Life. I somehow agree, but that's a partial observation... It must be add that the reaction to that Suffering is an equally relevant part of the essence of Life. So I'd say that FIGHT is the essence of Life, agreeing with Nietzsche's agonist cosmovision.

And what better way to express what an agonist perspective looks like than applying it at one's own way of reasoning...? At this point irony is just necessary no matter how serious is the subject you're talking about.
