My dad is an actual published poet who makes a living off writing. But he refuses to help me in any way. The most he's said so far was, "Probably use Times Roman for your font. That's what I was always told."
I think he wants me to make it on my own, but even so. C'mon. A thumbs up or down after a read wouldn't be the end of the world.

I'm in the rewrite/editing phase of my book but it's causing me more mental strain and taking longer than the actual writing did. What do?

Well, the tragedy is within the HFN. I'm trying to do something, but it's a little hard to explain. The whole book is a romance. 2 separate relationships are going on, a love triangle and even a flash forward to a later date where they're all happy.
