I want to eliminate old boundaries like protestant/catholic or Irish and Italian prejudices. We need to present a unified front if we're to be competitive. Teaching your kids that ingroup bias doesn't exist is setting them up for failure by teaching them behavior that will make them less competitive. It is not only unstrategic, it is immoral. You should be trying to set your children up to be the best they can be at navigating reality. A group whose binding belief is that they are not actually a group will always lose to a group competitively engages in nepotism and ingroup-bias.
