basically in his book on transgender dialects, zizek distinguishes three fundamental mirror dualities of biological inequalities in human societies

the gay man and the straight man
the black man and the white man
the man and the woman

In each pair the former wishes to become the latter but cannot do so without destroying their own identity, except in the last case of man and woman which is unique.
