Why do so many gays think that they're writers? Seriously, just about every gay guy I know writes a blog or poetry or short stories, and all of it is uniformly awful, sentimental slop.

I know it's a trap that a lot of millennials get into because they're pretentious and lazy, but it seems to be statistically higher among gays. Not even hating on them for being gay since I'm a bisexual degenerate myself, but it's just a trend I keep seeing over and over.

Thoughts?
