The bane trilogy will literally make you fall asleep. each book was made in months and reads like the shittiest, proseless mess in SW. Not bad concepts at all, just that every thing that happens is a deadpan, matter-of-fact as possible. Impossible to enjoy.

Most SA books are YA slop for turbofans who basedjak when their fav character is mentioned. Nothing from disneywars is worth mentioning except for Zahn's stuff. Disneywars strong point is TV.
You will only enjoy any book if you are an absolute sucker for the franchise. (If so, New Jedi Order / Legacy of the Force / Fate of the Jedi + related books).

You may try reading the Thrawn trilogy (heir to the empire), both original or new. The '91 trilogy basically invented the EU as you know it. Almost everything before it got shelved permanently. The 2014 trilogy is the same story, distilled by removing all the EU baggage that held it back ie jedi clones
