Tips for success:
-Read what interests you (don't start with the fucking Greeks)
-Setting monthly or yearly reading goals really helps. You've spent years cultivating the neural reward circuits that make stat-farming in video games so satisfying; now you can use those exact same circuits to drive your reading habit.
-Read in bed at night, read a couple pages every morning before you open your computer

I was in the same boat, anon. Start reading epubs on your phone. That's what helped my screen-addicted brain become hooked on reading. And you can pirate any book you want to read.
Read what genuinely interests you, not the boring shit proscribed by /lit/.
Remember 'motivation' is worse than useless; positive change only happens through forming of habits, and that takes time and pressure. If you read one book this year, that's a 100% improvement on last year. Give yourself credit for success, don't beat yourself up over failures.
I'm still a screen-addicted porn addict but I've read 50 books so far this year.

Put down the Spinoza and read something fun and interesting.
