The dead regard the living with such emotion that it motivates their return to visit the living. This is not a bureaucratically friendly nor enduringly memorable process. The entire human race is finite in knowledge and stumbling with these big questions. Even the dead lack answers and speak pathos with uncertainty. Shakespeares Hamlet is realistic enough. The dead have answers they scarcely share. Even if your dead uncle comes back he is not smarter than your physics professor who has found the eternal truth as best expressed by mankind's full range of hardy abilities. Consciousness is a physical consequence like a wave but what is that medium of beyond? It is not on a chalkboard. When you are sitting next to a ghost you know there are no living authorities to baby you into giving you all the answers in your language. This is why the Buddha (Bodhi being knowledge) is a teacher to living and dead to human and beyond.

This is the common Sino Japanese rejection of Buddhism. Yes! Exactly!
I actually found out about it via an Islamic Guenon scholar (unspellable arab name of youtuber with Guenon Reign of Quantity lectures) who quoted a Japanese author who became an Islamic scholar (also unspellable googoo name).
There is a former Christian scholar who claims Jesus and his parables are revisions of Buddhist parables by following the Pali and Greek. JesusIsBuddha.com

Now what strikes me about these Buddhist parallel parables is that they are NPC level boring bland uneventful. But the redpill to me is that Buddha was a manager of a huge company of sanghas and there is a real present human urge to be a hollow NPC. It makes me feel Buddha is the dark souls 3 style usurpation of Fire ending for Japan.
