You think I bother saving logs? In my early years I would write less, think about 200-300 words per post. I almost exclusively write my smut in multi-para now, averaging about 900 words per post. I do this almost every day (with some breaks) for several hours and have done this for at least the last 10 years on the modern site, with an additional 10 years prior to that on IRC.
If I had to guess, an average RP with someone doing multi-para posts will have around 12-13 thousand words. It can be less if my partner is a slow typist, but most of the time I'm playing with the same handful of people. Assuming I'm doing this for say 4 days over a week, I'm easily hitting about 50,000 words. That's about half the length of "The Hobbit" written in a week. Again, I've been doing this for like two decades.
Is the prose as good as any "real" novel? I'm sure it's not, but I'm still writing that much.

Yeah I hate being exploted. Why buy anything when you can sleep on the floor and eat wet oats all day. No one should enjoy anything that costs money that's lame, I'd rather stare at the plaster and meditate on how much money I saved by not enjoying anything.
