Apparently this is what she wrote in the actual book, which inspired the anonymous rewrite

Is women's erotica usually this hilarious?

As of late, I've been trying to explain more and more things by the 'nature' of things,
'nature' being the primary characteristic of something.

An example would be describing the way a researcher behaves and thinks based on his nature, namely that of inquisitiveness.

Now my question is:
Which school of philosophy or philosopher is closest in its way of thinking to what I've described?

When you feel like wasting a few hours of your life you should read some popular fanfiction. It's hilariously bad, in that same way most erotica is. I even like to delude myself into thinking it made me become a better writer by demonstrating how no-one should ever write.
