I mean, it seems to me that Aristotle effectively realized essentially the same thing already (see Physics, Books V. and VI.) that motion over a magnitude must correspond with the magnitude and be continuous like it, so that instant does not follow instant like point does not follow point (in calculus we speak of infinitesimals or limits), and the quicker of two things traverses a greater magnitude in an equal time, etc., etc., seriously, was Aristotle just retarded? Am I really missing something?
