I meditate nearly everyday. Straight spine and curved limbs are ideal positioning. I usually meditate from a Buddhist perspective a la the kalachakra tantra or from a gnostic perspective. I like the stuff from the Nag hammadi library recently. Viewing meditation as a jungian individuation process has also been quite helpful to me. Meditation is about coming to recognize your own inherent divinity, uncorrupted by the illusory spectacles of the "real" world. To see past any and all imperfect symbols or abstractions to the singular unchanging truth they imitate.
