I refuse to believe the only "romance" books written in the last 50 years are the pulpy trash about billionaires or dukes or vampire/werewolves collecting dust in libraries and bookstores.

How do you guys get started writing short stories? I have all these ideas but I can't ever get further in than a couple sentences before I lose steam
