/lit/, I did it. I decided to go all in. Yesterday afternoon, I dropped off my entire book collection -- hundreds of books -- to the Salvation Army, keeping only my KJV Bible. I will be adding a study Bible, some Aquinas, maybe some Scholastic literature, and a few modern gems. I feel a mix of relief and dread, dread that I'm going to regret my sacrifice and want my cherished books back. I'm sad to say that I'm also going to be weaning myself off 4chan and trying for a humble presence on Christian forums. I'm not very proud of the person I've been at times.

So I've almost finished reading this, just got to the part where they killed Jesus, and I'm fucking pissed. Like why the fuck did they have to do him dirty like that? That snitch Judas was a bitch, but all his bros abandoned him at the end, Peter punked out hard. Man I just love Jesus so much bros, it's fucking me up! I swear to God if I was there I would have gone apeshit on those Romans and Jews and whoever the fuck else wants a piece, I don't care about prophecy or Isiah or the blood of the lamb or any of that nerd bullshit, I'm laying mfs out. Man I am fucking heated dude, I swear to God shit would have gone down very different if I was there.

I read some of the stuff about the resurrection and all that but honestly it's fucking cope. It shouldn't have happened like it did, Jesus did not deserve any of that, and all his friends were straight up bitches and when I was done with Pilate and the Pharisees I'd be coming after them, too. It's fucked up bro, it's really got me fucked up.

I've been told that despite being without faith I could still find wisdom in the Bible, but why should I? Why take from something that only gives my being any value if it grovels before some tyrant? Christfags do away with your blind devotion and tell me as a rational non believer why the Bible has anything worthwhile.

Man, I know, I just love the way it's written! It feels so patchwork, really straddling the fence between feeling like a history and a collection of legends.
