Hey queer /lit/erati, I want to know how loyal Judith Butler is to the methodologies of Foucault, Althusser, and Derrida.

I personally think trans politics and queer theory is crap, but I've rather enjoyed Foucault and Althusser quite a bit and it would pain me knowing that Butler merely takes their methods and applies it to feminism/queer shit. Is this legit or no?

Hey /lit/, I'm really interested in antihumanism (Foucault, Althusser, all that shit) but I'm really, really scared it might turn me into tumblr.

For example, does the whole "history is a process without a subject" thing ultimately lead to bullshit like "intersectionality" which tries to compound all forms of oppression into one, since there's literally no use in claiming the proletariat, women, black/brown people, etc. are the subject of history? Because I browse through tumblr SJW posts and I want to puke at what I see.

I also think Judith Butler's gender theories are downright terrible, and I know she uses a pomo/post-structuralist/antihumanist framework, no? Personally, I think Queer Theory is the kiss of death for feminism.
