get the fuck out of my /lit/

I haven't read anything in a while now. I seem to spend all my time on the internet chatting or playing roleplaying games that are meant to be played with other people at a table in the basement.

Every time I read a book, there usually seems to be a couple minor details that really get to me and I lose interest in the setting or characters. It happens the most with fantasy books, and I've barely ever found a fantasy setting that interests me beyond my own--you know, that setting that every nerd has that they'll get around to writing a novel for ONE day?

If I gave /lit/ a list of the books I've enjoyed--and some I hated--could I get some help choosing my next book, that I will probably not read due to the general apathy and malaise in my life that reading would be meant to get rid of? It's quite the catch 22.

Pic is related to how I feel whenever I remember that I've slipped from that kid who read Animorphs and Harry Potter all through class to the guy who just reads Wikipedia and TVtropes when he isn't chatting.
