With the amount of bullying that Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ is getting, sometimes I just want to hug her and tell her everything's going to be all right but I'm not a simp lol

Is it strange that I can understand a sentence as a whole but find it difficult to define the individual words that composes it in my own words? For example: "I lifted my right arm up", I can understand what it means and I can picture it in my head; I can even rephrase it to "I rose my right arm to the sky". What worries me is that if I break down the sentence "I lifted my right arm up" into "I", "lifted", "my", "right", "arm", "up" then I find it difficult to define each word in my own tongue. Most times my "definition" of a word is just the synonym of it like "raise" for "lift".
I've been reading in english for so long that I find it more easier to express my thoughts in english more than my first language. I am unsure if I am making any sense right now because ever since this realization of mine I felt mentally retarded, I even started to read word-by-word instead of sentence-by-sentence and I find it difficult to make sense out of the text that I am reading
