Just marathoned the first chapter. I'm blown way.

Is it worth it to keep going?

I've been reading this recently and enjoying it, and although I'm fairly confident in my reading abilities I'm also cognizant of the fact that I'm likely missing out on the deeper intricacies and subtleties of the various ways this novel works. Are there any things you wish someone had told you before you read this?

What are your thoughts on The Crying of Lot 49?

>Is Maxwell's Demon a meta-metaphor for the book, in the sense that it is impossible to sort out all the clues?
