Are there any direct/obvious influences on Pynchon as a writer and/or specific books? Such as the influence Shakespeare, Milton, KJV had on Moby Dick?

I’ve never read any other style quit like his. Maybe Gaddis being the closest, with a smattering if Barth and the Beats?
