Is this the least culturally significant decade in history? Not even just for books, I literally can't think of anything big from this decade.

>cinema - the biggest films I can think of from the decade from a more artsy point of view are Drive and It's Such A Beautiful Day, that's it
>music - probably the best field of the decade, even if I don't like them there are albums which will be remembered like MBDTF and TPAB (one of these is good but bloated, overall has a 5-track streak of 10/10s, the other is absolute nothing which soibois love, not horrible but not much, see if you can guess which), going more obscure, albums like Have One On Me and Peasant are great
>emerging media - The History Of The Whole World I Guess is probably the best video on YouTube objectively speaking, there's been some good stuff on YouTube but most of the best stuff is reviews of some kind, not 100% original content, also it's had a huge downward spiral since Vine shut down
My guess as for why is that now we have more accessible knowledge of what we've had before than ever, the kind of people who actually give a shit about art and culture aren't as concerned with current movements as with improving their own knowledge. There is as such more of a tendency to wallow in the past leading to bands like Greta Van Fleet
