I'm working on a novel that will kick off a series. Attached image is a dummy cover I mocked up to motivate myself. The actual title will also be different, but it's basically darker, edgier, sexier Star Wars. The major differences are:
>The "Jedi" work for the "Empire."
>The "Sith" lead the "Rebel Alliance."
Neither side is really the good guy or bad guy, and the protagonist is an intergalactic thief who gets caught up in the fight between the two factions and finds himself in a position to tilt the balance. There's a little bit of existentialism and discussion of choice and identity, but mostly it's about this wicked smart dude kicking the ass of various psychic demigods who constantly mistake him for a meaningless pawn in their game. And he fucks hot Jedi bitches.
