That still doesn't explain why men stopped reading and only women read. As far as I'm concerned it's still a chicken or egg situation, did men stop reading because there's only trash or did men stop reading so there's only trash now? And in either case what was the cause?

Give me the long answer. Why isn't there any money in appealing to male audiences? You'd think you could do both, pulp magazines did.
