Favourite scene?

Act 4, scene 4 to me.

Gives an in-depth view of Hamlet's plans and thoughts, like no other views in the play.

Let's get some good revenge quotes from the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare, from any character.

yo /lit/

can anyone help me with my essay about Hamlet? I'm a pretty good English student, I just hate old-style English and can't deal with it. And this essay task is:

Write a paragraph about Claudius, Laertes, Fortinbras and Horatio and how they're similar/different to Hamlet.

I have nothing to give but my love.

>Go see Hamlet at the local theater with my AP English class
>Hamlet is played by a chick
>I don't mind really
>After play is over the is a Q&A session
>Polonious/Horatio asks "Who think Hamlet is a masculine character. Stand up if do, stay sitting if no."
>I stand up with about a fifth of the audience.
>Audience member asks "Why did you guys decide to have a girl play Hamlet?"
>Hamlet answers "Because I think Hamlet is a universal character. Women feel his emotions too, so I felt obliged to play him."
>I say to myself "I finally understand why there are all these feminist threads and recounts of interactions with dumb girls on /lit/"
>Later on, at Burger King, a girl in my AP English class comes up to me and says "I noticed you stood when they asked if Hamlet is masculine character. Is it because he knows how to use swords?"
>Punch her in mouth and knock her out
>Drag body out back and throw into dumpster
>Have a quickie
>Go back inside
>No one notices.

Hello /lit/ I come to you from another board.
My reason for visiting you today is to simply get some feed back
on something that has been bugging me about the story Hamlet,
it's the ending, where the foreign prince, Fortinbras, randomly shows
up and says something to the effect of "Hamlet was a good guy"
When they had never seemed to meet in the story.

Then it dawned on me (for those who care).
What if he was some sort of insurance policy in-case Hamlet fucked up badly?

Working on an essay about Hamlet, where we analyze a quote, autonomously and in larger context of the play.

I have Polonius's line of "The apparel oft proclaims the man"

Thesis: Shakespeare shows relationship between inner/outer image throughout the play

support:
Ghost in full armor (represents revenge, violence)
Hamlet in full black (shows his inner turmoil)
Hamlet approaches his mom while she is in the changing room (to get her to speak honestly, no clothes=no mask)
Actors perform Hamlet's feelings more dramatically than he does, he sees this and uses appearances to manipulate people later in play

overall the essay is how Shakespeare uses imagery to convey emotions/inner feeling

any other supporting evidence? I have four pages but I'd like to extend it

18yearoldhighschoolfag here.

I have to write a compare contrast composition on this play. My teacher is a mid 20's spoiled little rich girl, so I figure I should write about misogyny and compare Ophelia and Gertrude.

All of you are super smart at stuff like this, so any insightful details inferences from the play that I should talk about.
