For me it's Fallout, Buddhism, some Judaism, minimalism, civil rights underperforming, and dropping out of classes and getting bad grades on purpose just to pass. Go to Community College instead of big name university. No more brands.

I think a book would get banned if it was published in today's climate. I have been looking for a book on this too. In the meantime reading through Econ history to see what deflates. Durable goods! Skilled labor! Coinciding wants and casual transactions in high trust contexts that are forgettable and not recorded.
