I'm noticing a lot of Russell hate here, but wasn't Russell a seminal logician who made important observations in philosophy? Honest question.

I have a Kindle related question, but don't want to start yet another Kindle thread, so I'll put it here:

What font settings do you use when reading on your Kindle?
- Between 1 and 8?
- Regular, Condensed or Sans Serif
- Gap between lines: small/medium/large

Personally I use 2, condensed, medium. Could read smaller but since it's so easy to move to the next page with a small push of the finger I don't want to strain my eyes unnecessarily. Just curious what others read in.

A man grows up, not reading any literature. He spent most of his teenage years on comic books and shitty television.
He wants to change.

What's the first book you suggest?

>no such thing as correct grammar.

THEN WHY ARE YOU USING IT THEN?

Hey /lit/, /sci/fag here.

What's the deal with grammar in literature??
I am currently in ENC 1102, and we have just started reading analytical essays, and so far alot of these acclaimed critics like Laura Mulvey basically said "FUCK YOU" to everything I ever learned about grammar. Does it basically go that as long as people like what you write, you can forget about proper grammar, specifically sentence structure.
