Why even live?

Im starting to feel lost in my ideas. I want to read more but my adhd brain never lets me finish a book. I used to be into marxist lit, read murray rothbard for a bit, watched some breakdowns of evola's writing, and recently read the first half of industrial society. Does anyone have any suggestions for writing on modernity, modern spirituality, or human value? Bonus points if its concise.

I have stumbled upon xegis on blogspot recently but feel way to dumb to understand what they are getting at.
