What's even the big deal? For all the shocking deaths he's thrown in, we know pretty clearly that the main characters are Jon, Danerys, and Tyrion. Just guide the rest of the series in a way that gets them all united and sets them against the Others. How hard could that be?

Playing Devil's Advocate for a minute: if the guy looks extremely feminine, is it gay to be aroused by him? Aren't you technically obeying your heterosexual impulses by reacting to the womanish elements of his body?

Huh, this chart is actually a pretty good guide to reading philosophy.

>an epic about Wojak
>Pepe as foil/deuteragonist
>navigation through memes and the sensations they generate

This could unironically be interesting. An epic for the modern world, one might say.

How many other people on this board actually want to get their writing published, and, as such, don't post it in the critique threads? A lot of literary journals consider showing a work online as a publication, and thus any work shown online as previously published, meaning they won't take it. Beyond that, I just think it would be terrible for a beginning writer to be immediately associated with 4chan. The 4chan association is something you'd ideally reveal later, at a time and place of your choosing, in order to increase your avant garde cred.

Does anyone here have much experience with fourteener meter? I've found myself using it, sort of, with my latest forays into narrative poetry. I say "sort of" because when I write it I actually find myself naturally stopping lines at thirteen syllables. Is this normal?

American here. Despite writing a lot, and actually getting a few things published, I've only ever entered one contest. Should I be entering more? Are they good for your career?

>tfw you realize that /lit/ is genuinely, unironically one of the best places on the internet to talk about both reactionary and neoreactionary thought

I can't say I blame people for thinking Land himself comes here. At least here we attempt to appreciate him.

>tfw Jacobite might actually take off as a magazine

Would be kind of cool, considering they had a thread here at one point. They need more Catholics, though, with a name like theirs.

It's amazing how people will take any provocation to shitpost, but so few of them want to read on a board devoted to literature.
