Let me guess, it's written by some Snark-Lord 30 year old who got rejected by cracked.com and now is trying to make a name for himself by picking on a very easy target.

Look, in retrospect, the writing style is kind of shit-tier, but the stories are so cool that it just doesn't matter. They actually seem cooler in some ways now than when I was 10.

Also, the covers improve with age, and the nostalgia rush is a huge bonus.

You can't really prove something that's subjective anyway.
