I wrote this short story. I think I'm going to make some major changes but I wanted some feedback from strangers. Kindly critique if you feel so inclined.

The Oriental drycleaners across the street do a good job cleaning my shirts—they never leave any ghosts of ring-around-the-collar or faints of dirt along the cuffs. And they always come back to smelling good—like they were handled by nimble little anti-bacterial’d foreign hands. A good, clean, hot-steam smell.
However, they never press the shirts well enough. That is, they inevitably leave a visible topography of wrinkles across the torso and along the sleeves. For the price, they do a fine job but I always find it necessary to iron the garments myself afterward. I don’t know why this is, sufficing to say that either their equipment is faulty or the standards of menswear differ in the Orient.
I have spent a lot of time weighing the issue of personal style and appearance. When I get my shirts back from the cleaners in such a state, I immediately get to work on my ironing routine. In order to correctly iron a shirt, one must first have in possession an ironing board. This should be moderately priced with a sturdy disposition. Try for something with iron-based legs for durability, an iron-mesh top (this allows for greater steam circulation) and a high-heat silicon coat. Avoid stamped aluminum boards with cheap polyester board covers—these bend easily and burn quickly. Some may try to get away from using with this valuable workbench by via a bed or (god-forbid) the floor, but this is an imprudent behavior as the ironing board is designed with the specific purpose in mind.

of course the great irony of the tripfag is that their smug supperiority and conniving troll operations are the result of time spent off of 4chan, in congress with other /lit/ tripfags. this makes them, in fact, the most invested users of all, yet they feign their flippancy. they care the most. so much. they love this place and would be sad and lost (and lonely, perhaps) without it.
