Do you ever reflect on how good we have it now for studying whatever we're interested in? You can look up the works of Aristotle, Spinoza and Schopenhauer in one afternoon without even getting up from your chair. This commodity has never been so available and ready for so many of us, regardless of our background, social standing, race or even language. It's marvelous, and I feel that we often forget this unheard of before in history privileged we enjoy.
