Really enjoyed O'Connors short stories, thought they were fantastic.

Another auther I really like is Stanislaw Lem who mostly writes sci-fi, but his short story collections in books like The Star Diaries, Tales of Pirx the pilot, The Cyberiad etc. are wonderful.

Reading pic related. It's a collection of short stories, with this book being slightly more moralistic then some of his other works. Still, highly enjoyable tales, the once I've read so far!
