I liked the old man and the sea
I loved how the man saw the fish as a brother, a worthy rival, and felt sorry he had to kill it.
Haven't read any other Hemingway but that book alone makes me consider him a good writer.

I started doing freewriting a few days ago. Is this a good exercise to continue? I feel like I'm just writing down my daily madness. I'm writing a lot more than I used to but it's 99% gibberish.
