The basic (justified) criticisms are
1) That he tried to shill psychological life-advice into whatever popular philosopher he talks about (he'll find Dating advice in Hegels historicism, if you let him)
2) That he projects his sexual insecurities on his viewers
3) That he sells stuff (the least problematic one on the list)

I hate that you make my cite Bill Gates of all people, but this is in no way unforseen.
E.g. this is a 2015 talk about flu-like pandemics btw., he basically lists issues and happenings like in a playbook

Whenever I'm interested in a famous writer or scientist X in field Y, I go to Wikipedia and find this

Why do Americans do this? What issue lies behind this?
