I fucking hate being attracted to men, I would have prefered if it was like in Mishima's times, when you would have to keep it as a secret. I hate the LGBT "community", and their pride shit, as if it was a blessing, when in reality it is a curse. I hate flamboyance and pride parades.
I wish I could atleast have a homofash bf like Mishima who would want to keep it as a secret, but all I find are loud, flamboyant and obnoxious progressive fags.

Can someone who is knowledgeable she’d some light on the influence of western authors on Japanese fiction of the late 19th and early 20th century? Is it fair to say Mishima is probably the Japanese author of that era who was most heavily influenced by western sensibilities?

I have read a little bit of Japanese fiction from this era and really like it so far. Mishima, some Kawabata stories, and Akutagawa were all great.

I once got banned on /lgbt/ for mentioning that I was a right-winger bisexual.
They are fucking faggots.
/fit/'s jannies are assholes too, they let porn threads stay for hours, yet ban you for replying to or sometimes just mentioning uncleposter.

I don't want to create another thread.
Can I learn japanese by reading Mishima in both the translation and the original? You know, like Borges did with the Divine Comedy to learn italian. Of course, I would have to learn the alphabet and kanjis first.

Yes. Now can we admit that it's the same with Mishima? Mishima is not gay.

I've been reading Mishima's Confessions of a Maks lately. All around a great book, the homosexual thematic is interesting too, but what really caught me are the motives of heroism, solitude and the heroic self sacrificial death. Who are some other authors who write about this topic? I read some Evola a few years ago and some parts struck a similar vein, but he's obviously a very different genre (although I would be interested in both literary as well as essayistic/theoretical recommendations). Also doesn't have to be exclusively right-wing, religious martyrdom is just as interesting, maybe even some left-wing "death in the revolution" stuff.
