Most male writers these days are pretty effeminate, I think. I'm Nnt trying to be misogynistic but if you do a good image search for any contemporary writer it's either a woman or an effeminate guy.

My professor is pretty cool guy, kind of strange though. He always wears white washed jeans with either a tie dye t-shirt or sweatshirt. But when he wears his sweatshirt he never tucks in his t-shirt that he wears undernearth; it looks bad but he doesn't seem to give a fuck.

The guy definitely knows his shit though and the class seems to respect him.
