2.5 years. Doesn't help that it was my first serious relationship and I got cheated on. It was relatively easy to dispel the love I had for her, but fighting the bitterness that festered within me was a struggle I have kept on for more than 5 years. It's not easy to trust someone with your affections.

Also, I happened to find out she cheated on the guy she cheated on me with. Yet, that miserable fool sticks with her. At least I have no part in her life and her in mine.

A part of me just doesn't feel like playing vidya anymore. And I don't even mean it in a depressing tone. I've completed my backlog so I'm left with some satisfaction but I still play games. Most of the time its a multiplayer game now. But it's left me with a sense of hollowness despite being a social interaction of some sort. Maybe I'm at the edge of me being done with vidya, maybe I'm just growing old.

I can sort of understand what you're saying since in a similar vein, I genuinely despise hypocritical people. Doesn't matter how far or near they are to me in relation, legitimately lose all respect for these kind of people. And I wouldn't say it's projection either, because I also try to be as much as someone who keeps their word or put money where their mouth is. But I think it has to do with my upbringing and my experience with others. Seeing people who are supposed to be your role models turn out to be the very thing they tell you not to be, having people do things they'd vehemently oppose before almost immediately after saying so or just the dishonesty displayed towards others. It's not just dishonesty in the face of others, but also to themselves. Some of the hypocrites I've met in my life don't even know that they are, yet they'll call others out for it.
