I want to write a book told entirely from the perspective of a fart, beginning with its formation in the colon, and then its evacuation, and its dissipation, until centuries have passed and the fart has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, and it has traveled so far away from itself that the fart has an existential crisis, and then a gentle breeze carries it into a volcano where it ultimately dies.

I don't know if I should make it a fictional auto-biography, like the fart is writing about its own life, or if I should use omniscient third person to follow it around.

I really think this book would be popular with Oprah's book club, but at this rate that stupid bitch is going to be long dead before I get this thing written and published.
