While the Mannheim edition is clear in it's distain for Hitler, the Ford version is not perfect either. I also could not find any other sources about the claim that the R&H translation was even in part done by assistants outside of Ford's own claims in Mein Kampf: A Translation Controversy, and he does not cite where he got this information. When looking through his comparisons between his translation and R&H, I would say that only a couple of his examples change meaning of the text (R&H not understanding "sheep's head" is a card game, not calling a person a "muttonhead).
