give me a tiny description and maybe compare it to something ive posted and read so i know what its like when suggesting?

So I'm a big sword and sorcery and general fantasy fan (read: fat nerd), and I'm reading this for the first time. I'm enjoying it alright so far, but with all the praise I've seen it's kinda average. I really don't like how two of the characters seem to fall in love in the span of two days after meeting each other randomly. It feels like it's just forced in there for the sake of having romance.

The only parts I'm enjoying so far are the parts focusing on Druss. What's everyone else think of this book?
