I mean, Anon, it's not so different from what so many people like me are writing. But we probably write in different tongues.

The premisse sounds cool but would that really work as a story? I mean, poor guy. That's likely what will happen to most of us (minus the "greatest romance ever" part, of course), but my philosophy as a writer is that suffering must play a role in the plot. I've done my fair share of unfairly punishing my characters because my day was horrible, yet the second draft saw me deleting half of it because of how redundant the suffering was.

I'm just concerned you'll torture this guy for 70 thousand pages and then torture him some more, as he finds success only after death. It has happened before with real life writers, though.
